Driftwood Mirror

This is a large hand crafted driftwood framed mirror, the driftwood has been collected from the Scottish shores, dried, cleaned and hand crafted into a unique, individual functional framed mirror.
The driftwood has been bleached by the sun and smoothed by the waves in a beautiful and natural way.
It is a heavy chunky mirror, the size is approx - 69cm across and from top to bottom it is 73cm ( at the longest points of the wood)
It is decorated with some unusual shells and it has a natural reclaimed fishing net intertwined around an ornate piece of driftwood. At the bottom of the mirror behind the wood there is a reclaimed natural piece of rope which is blue in colour. There is also a rope hanger on the back of mirror ready to hang.

Rustic Driftwood Mirror

This is a hand crafted rustic natural driftwood framed mirror, the wood is collected from the Scottish shores and crafted into a unique functional item.
The driftwood is very rustic and natural it has grooves and indentations and also holes where rusty nails have been which add to the character and mystic.
The wood has not been sanded as I wanted to leave it as natural and rustic as possible.

The actual size is 52cm across and 77cm from top to bottom ( at longest piece of wood ) It is a solid, heavy piece. It has a rope hanger on the back

Intertwined driftwood mirror

This is a highly unique intertwined design, it is a driftwood framed mirror, the wood is collected from the Scottish shores, it has been bleached with the sun and smoothed by the sea in a completely natural way.
The unusual pieces of driftwood are beautifully formed and shaped and have been individually crafted together in an artistic style to form the frame of the mirror. There are many beautiful and individual pieces of driftwood on this particular mirror which have been painstakingly crafted together.

It has been decorated with some unusual shells placed between the driftwood, the wood is unique and rustic with one particular piece having a rusty bolt which makes it quite interesting in the respect that the origin of the wood is unknown but possibly from an old boat perhaps ? who knows with driftwood.
The actual size is 49cm across and 68cm from top to bottom. There is a shelf on the bottom of the mirror which is 9cm wide.

LARGE RUSTIC DRIFTWOOD MIRROR

A LARGE CHUNKY HAND CRAFTED DRIFTWOOD FRAMED MIRROR
This beautiful and quite unique handcrafted driftwood framed mirror is a large 102cm wide and 93cm from top to bottom in size (at longest part of wood) The mirror is framed with large, thick, chunky, rustic pieces of driftwood and also backed with a large thick flat solid piece of driftwood. The actual driftwood is collected from the Scottish shores, cleaned, dried and partly sanded in order to try to retain the natural beauty, shape and form which has been created by the power of the pounding or smoothing waves from the actual sea itself. It is then hand crafted into a unique one off functional and decorative design.
The origin of the wood is unknown which is quite fascinating, perhaps from old ships ? or from distant shores ? this piece has the original nails which of course are rusty and add to the character I believe.
This particular mirror is framed with a lovely natural rope, which is actually quite difficult to come by, it is also reclaimed from the sea, cleaned and dried, the rope is shaped around the edge of the mirror and also up the centre to create a “wave” effect.
